SE Scholar, LLC


Your on-line instructor will be Paul Martin, ESEP, who started SE Scholar, LLC several years ago. He is a practicing Systems Engineer with over 35 years of experience. He has been everything from a Product Engineer for General Electric Products Division to a Software Systems Engineer for a multi-million dollar Navy program. Presently he’s a Systems Engineering Technical Advisor (SETA) supporting DoD.  He has earned a Master of Science in Systems Engineering along with a Certificate in Software Systems Engineering from George Mason University in 1994. He also has a DAWIA Level III certification in Systems Planning, Research, Development and Engineering.

Paul has been involved with INCOSE since 2000 and has served on the local Chesapeake INCOSE Chapter Board of Directors for the past 5 years as Programs Director and Communications Officer. In March 2007, he became an INCOSE “Certified Systems Engineering Professional.” (Read about that experience here). In 2012 he earned the INCOSE “Expert Systems Engineering Professional” certification. Paul also serves as an Adjunct Professor in the UMBC College of Engineering and Information Technology, Systems Engineering Graduate Programs where he teaches ENEE 663: System Implementation, Integration, and Test and ENEE 667: Advanced Systems Engineering Processes. He's also a Senior Member of IEEE .

Paul has a unique and passionate style that keeps students interest at a high level. He's been teaching ASEP/CSEP Exam Preparation Courses since 2009 and has taught several hundred students.
