A fun time at the SEP Gala in Baltimore

Every year for the past 7 years the INCOSE Chesapeake Chapter has held a Systems Engineering Professional (SEP) Gala to celebrate local INCOSE members who have gotten the INCOSE SEP Certification (ASEP, CSEP & ESEP). It’s held at the prestigious Engineer’s Club  at The Garrett-Jacobs Mansion, Baltimore, MD. It really is a wonderful night of luxury and gourmet dining, in the company of friends, peers and colleagues of my chosen profession. We got to hear from Robert A. Gold, Director, Engineering Enterprise within the Office of Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Systems Engineering (DASD(SE)) and Courtney Wright, Program Manager, INCOSE Certification Program. Both were encouraging and challenging  in making sure we add value to our companies and projects by doing Systems Engineering right. We need to bring the correct solutions to the hard problems by embracing innovation. Very inspiring.

I was able to show off the SE Scholar big awesome chart and pose for some photographs with the chart in hand. It was really fun to be with “my people” as we celebrated all things Systems Engineering.
